Is it Rumor, Is it Real? Jared McColloch gone Missing

Full disclosure before I get into what I have to say on this topic: I do not not nor have I ever known Jared McColloch or his Mother Tammie McColloch Reppond or anyone either one of them associate with. I only became aware of this entire situation when it became public knowledge on Facebook when Jared went missing in Nov. 2023 and I reached out to Tammie and spoke to her several times throughout these last couple of years. I have been completely transparent with her about who I am, what I do, and the help I would give. But after all this time, watching thousands upon thousands of people join Jared's Missing Person's page, people asking questions that perhaps the Admins don't want to be asked or they don't want to answer, or they bring some kind of evidence to the group that does not fit with the narrative that fits with what they want their page to look like or the mood to feel like so they can get as many podcasts and shows and news outlets to pick the story up, these people's comments get deleted and most of the time, the people get blocked. I've seen it with my own eyes for years now. I happen to know a case can not be solved without ALL the information and facts before people, not just the sympathy facts that get people to turn away from something that might not be so pretty because you want to protect a reputation. Those ugly facts have to come out also to get to the bottom of things, like it or not. 

I've never been one to speak on something unless I have the facts in front of me. Anything I share in this post, I can assure you, it can either be publicly found or I am covered under IC 35-33.5-5-5 with any conversations I may share as this is a one consent state as is Louisiana which is where Tammie lives, I was a party to the conversation, and I am not sharing anything intimate.

One last thing before we get into it, I am not saying I know what happened to Jared because I do not. I am not implying what happened to Jared because I do not know. I am not pointing fingers, placing blame, or anything of that nature. I am only presenting ALL the facts that I have that are not or does not seem to be allowed to be shared on any of his public social media pages and then you can have your own opinion with more of the facts than you had before. So lets go.....

Let's Explain a few Things First:

Some may know how the legal system works, some may know how probation works, but I have found that many do not so I am going to give a quick rundown of how it goes, in layman's term, because in this particular case it seems to be a topic of confusion.

A person get's in trouble in state A and gets arrested, sentenced, and sent to jail or prison and then possibly probation after release. They can request to the court, or judge rather, that their sentence or probation be modified somehow, i.e. the person may ask to go to a different facility to be put on work release. The judge then either approves or denies their request. When out on probation, a person living in state A may, for whatever reason, want to move to state B but they also have to ask the courts permission for that also. If the judge approves that probation be transferred to state B, they can then move to that state however, state A is still the main holder of their probation. They are just allowing them to check in at state B's probation which will still report to state A that they are following all the rules. So now you are having to get permission from your original holders state of probation and the state you wanted to live in to do things. 

But, if you get in trouble in state B, state A is still your original holder and you are violating your probation in state A so now you are not only in trouble in the state you wanted to live in and get in trouble in but also the state that holds your probation.

So, I hope I have not confused you too much so we can move on..

I'm Not Here to Bash 

I will start off by saying, I am not here to give a complete and detailed timeline of Jared's route and disappearance.  Here is a link to the Facebook page if you would like to find all that information https://www.facebook.com/groups/jaredmccolloch I  am writing this timeline of activities that have not been able to be shared on that page. I have been a member of that page and have spoken with Jared's mother numerous times over the past couple of years, pretty much since day one, and I have watched how comments get deleted, posts don't get approved (including mine), people get blocked, pictures get painted in a one sided narrative, and I happen to know if you don't have all the facts about a case, it simply can't be solved. Over 17,000 people on that page and only one side told. Accusations made, yes it happened to me, if you make any comment they think is out of pocket so I will share the timeline of what I have here, on my own site that way you can put all the puzzle pieces together yourself, think for yourself, and not allow anyone to direct you into the way anyone wants you to believe. 

Let's Start from the Beginning

Questions that have been asked about Jared are:

• Wasn't he on probation?
• Doesn't he have a warrant or warrants out for him?
• Is he on the run?
• Why would he leave the state without permission when he's on probation?

In March of 2013, Jared was charged in Decatur county IN for:

DEALING IN A NARCOTIC DRUG- Same As 111 But Delivered/Financed On School Bus,W/In 1000 Ft School & NEGLECT OF A DEPENDENT- Same As 321 But Committed In Location Where Def Is VIolating Ic 35-48-4-1 O

He was found guilty on both charges in December 2013 and sentenced to imprisonment for 15 years and suspended five years to be served on supervised probation.

Now this is why I explained how probation works and wanting it transferred or getting into trouble in one state and so on, so keep up!

In May 2018, the court received notice of Jared's eligibility for community corrections placement. What that means is, the court receives notification of a defendant's formal review process to determine if they will be released from prison to a community-based program, such as work release or home detention.

Jared's request was denied.

In August 2018, court entered order transferring probation. Which obviously was approved and he went to live in Louisiana with his Mother.

In April 2020, and again in September 2023,  Jared was arrested in Union Parish, LA for:

DOMESTIC ABUSE BATTERY - STRANGULATION & SECOND DEGREE BATTERY

Like I explained earlier, his probation was transferred from Indiana to Louisiana so Indiana is still the main holder of his probation. So, meanwhile, back in Indiana that triggered a:

Petition to Revoke Filed in July 2020 and again in March 2021 and again November 6, 2026 and again February 26,2024 with a Warrant or Writ issued February 27, 2024. Now to clarify, one thing that is repeatedly said on Jared's page is that he did not ever have a warrant and he was not wanted and the warrant was not issued until after he went missing. That simply is not true. The reason they would continue to revoke his probation year after year is to not let it expire and so they can still deal with him after he got done with the charges he had going on in LA. It's not because he was missing and didn't check in as claimed by admins on his page because as you can see, it's been going on for years and IN was not going to drop it.

Back in Louisiana, he had been going to court for the battery charge from 2020- 9/2023 with his next court date being November 20,2023 at which he did not show for and a warrant was issued for him. 

So, Jared took off to Indiana on November 4, 2023, last heard from November 5, 2023, Probation Revoked in IN again November 6, 2023,(day after they found his truck) and was due in court in LA for the most current battery charges November 20, 2023, just 15 days later.

Wait, What?

So many conversations had, so many conversations changed, so many conversations just doesn't make sense! 

These are a some conversations I had personally with Tammie, Jared's mother:

* In the beginning, Tammie said she was at a Dr. appointment and got a call at 9:30 am EST from Knox county saying they found his truck. By 11:00 am, she got another call from Knox county saying her son was dead in the river. On 5/2/2024, she told me they, and I can only assume she is talking about Mt. Carmel Police because Knox county didn't receive a 911 call, received the 911 call about 8 am. But later, in a timeline made up by Tammie, she states a citizen called the truck in. I can only assume here that since I know Knox county did not get the 911 call, Mt. Carmel must have gotten a hold of Knox county since it was on the IN side. 

? Many questions.

* Tammie says when they found the truck, the keys were in it and it had ran till the gas ran out and the battery died according to her app because she got an alert on her from some app that is connected to his truck.

? I have searched, and I'm not saying it doesn't exist or I just haven't found it yet, but what app does a person have on their phone that connects to their vehicle that only tells you if the battery is dead and tells you nothing else? 

* Tammie said the dogs were Jared's dog's and were found in the truck and they never left his side and were very obedient.

? I found FB posts as far back as 2020 where those dogs were always with Tammie, and that could partially be due to the fact that Jared was locked up, but how the dogs would always run away. Unfortunately, it is like Tammie has completely redone her page and after going back and looking for those posts again so I could post the link, they are now gone, but I did read them.

*  Tammie has said Jared took off on Nov. 4 in the evening and no one had any idea he was leaving. She also claimed in the beginning he had left to go and surprise his son in Salem, IL at his Ex's, which later it came out that his son was in a juvenile detention center not in Salem, IL (another question coming up) She then claims he had left for some kind of emergency that came up because of his son and must have been in a hurry to get to him and he was wanting to get custody of him.

? Tammie told me in a conversation we had that they were planning on going together to visit his son. And in a conversation with another person that was shared with me, the family knew his son was not in Salem, IL. If she didn't know he left and had no contact with him after he left, how would she know there was any kind of emergency going on? With his record and pending charges, how was he going to get custody of him?

* It was said that his son was in a center in Benton, IL. After talking with her and doing research, I found that center was shut down in Dec. 2023 and there was only a handful of boys left there still waiting to be placed somewhere else but she knew he was already in another facility in Edwardsville, IL.

? This information has not ever until now been brought up to the public until now. So Benton, IL was never in the planned route but Edwardsville, IL was never mentioned to anyone.

So Let's Break this Down

To recap, and again, I am not trying to sway anyone's mind in one direction or another. I am only putting all the facts out there and perhaps the "maybe's" in ONLY my own words but but not factual knowledge, only by putting some puzzle pieces together and looking at things in a different way but not saying it's right or wrong. 

We now know that he does have a warrant in Louisiana, and yes that came up after he went missing but he also knew he had pretty serious charges pending against him, was on probation, and did not get permission to leave the state.

We now know he did have probation to revoke as far back as 2020 in IN because of the trouble he got in in LA so yes, IN did want him and no, it wasn't because he didn't "just not show up because he was missing." 

Which brings me to one theory, Indiana was never in his plans, he wasn't seen on any surveillance nor does he have any receipts for anything in IN but, that is where his truck ended up dropped off. Since that is where his physical property is the last place to have been found, that is where the missing person report has to be filed in which that would make Jared a missing person in IN instead of a wanted person. I'm not saying at all that nothing happened to him, but it is one way of looking at this puzzle also. 

As far as Jared's son, if you read the articles you will have read that in the midst of all of this, he went missing at one point also but was found. That was quite a topic! I spoke with Tammie on the phone awhile after all of that happened and she told me she knew he was at his mother's, Jared's ex, the one Jared was allegedly going to see in Salem, and CPS was called and he was taken back to a facility. He had gotten back out, gotten arrested again in Salem, IL for armed robbery and aggravated and unlawful use of a firearm. She then proceeded to tell me in a message he is a bad boy, an angry boy, and she never wanted custody of him. She said she is too old to handle an angry teenager. 

So if you were able to keep up, you can see how the stories have changed at times, facts have been left out, or some things are just painted in a way to make everything look like it was an innocent trip to save a son. But like I said before, I can promise you, posts and comments get deleted or not approved, people get blocked, and the entire truth is not being laid out!
